Easy Glass Bead Tutorial

7/31/2008 Easy Patterned Glass Beads
You will need a version of Paint Shop Pro
and Eye candy 5 Impact
Tutorial written by Laurie Rankins 2008
TOU in right hand colum of blog
Ok Lets get started It will only take a min. lol
Open a new image 600x600 pixels transparent:
Go to your materials palette and pick a pattern
or gradient or you could use a paper or make your
own:
Add New Layer:
Grab your bucket tool and flood fill your
image: or paint with tubes or brushes fill entire
Image:
Then go to Effects Reflections : Kaleidoscope
and I used this setting :

or you can choose a pattern
you like you can even add the kaleidoscope 2 or 3
times . The smaller the pattern the harder to see
or you can just use pattern as is.
When you are happy with your pattern go to
Effects: Plugins: Eye Candy 5 impact and
choose your Glass plugin and use my settings:

Button Bevel
It takes a min to process and you get a
large glass bead.
Then you need to re size.
Go to Image : Resize : I resize down 20 percent
smart size:

Then you want to sharpen them up a bit.
Go to Adjust: Sharpen: Unsharp mask:
with these settings : Decided to change
the settings to the ones Marianne used as they made the colours pop.

Your done lol Easy glass beads . Hope you liked my

tutorial. Have fun making beads
